WeVPN doesn't use accounts, so there's nothing to look up by username. If something isn't working, tell us your device model, iOS version, and what you were doing when it happened.

How do I connect?
- Open WeVPN. The first time, read and accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
- Tap the large Tap to Connect button.
- When the button and status card show Connected, your traffic is going through the encrypted tunnel.
Tap the button again to disconnect.
Why does iOS ask to “Add VPN Configurations”?
The first time you connect, iOS asks for permission to add WeVPN's VPN configuration to your device. This is a standard iOS step for every VPN app. Tap Allow, then confirm with Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode.
WeVPN can't connect without this permission. If you tapped Don't Allow, just tap Connect again and iOS will ask once more.
What does the tracking prompt mean?
WeVPN is free and supported by ads from Google AdMob. iOS asks whether you allow WeVPN to track your activity across other companies' apps and websites. If you allow it, your device's advertising identifier can be used to show more relevant ads.
If you choose Ask App Not to Track, you'll still see ads, but they may be less relevant. Either way, we do not use your browsing activity or VPN traffic to target ads, and we do not share it with advertisers. See section 7 of our Privacy Policy.
How do I turn tracking off?
You can change your choice any time:
- Open the iOS Settings app.
- Go to Privacy & Security > Tracking.
- Turn off the switch next to WeVPN. To stop all apps from asking, turn off Allow Apps to Request to Track.
Why do some websites or apps block me when I'm connected?
Some websites and streaming, banking, or shopping services block or limit traffic that comes from VPN servers, or ask for extra verification such as a CAPTCHA. This is a choice those services make, and WeVPN can't override it.
If a site won't load, try disconnecting WeVPN briefly to use it, then reconnect when you're done.
Does WeVPN make me completely anonymous?
No VPN can. WeVPN encrypts your connection and is designed not to log your browsing, but websites can still identify you through accounts you sign in to, cookies, and other tracking methods.
How do I remove the WeVPN VPN profile?
- Open the iOS Settings app.
- Go to General > VPN & Device Management, then tap VPN.
- Tap the ⓘ button next to WeVPN, then tap Delete VPN.
Deleting the WeVPN app also removes its VPN profile. If you open WeVPN again later, iOS will ask to add the configuration again.
Who can use WeVPN?
You must be 16 or older to use WeVPN. VPN use may be restricted in some countries, so please follow the laws where you are.
